90% of everything we eat, wear or use is shipped or flown from other countries by the freight industry but technology is outdated. Until Freightos came along, with incredible technology that brings freight online. We’re not the only ones excited about changing the world - so are the BBC, TechCrunch, the Wall Street Journal and others.
Would you like to push the limits of technology? How about you designing and implementing algorithms to process 10s of millions of data points in real time? What about helping your teammates and other teams to solve complex problems? Can you own tasks end to end and communicate updates to different stakeholders and management levels? Do you optimize for the customer experience? Do you strive to develop secure and responsive code and high performing APIs and services?
We are looking for software engineers who love solving complex problems and enjoy the challenge of building systems that are critical for our customers and are used to generate millions of dollars. Our systems manage millions of pricing points, hundreds of thousands of quotes and millions of location codes. We are looking for engineers that can work under pressure and build credible and reliable systems to respond to millions of quote requests and API calls.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute to every part of the development and deployment cycle, including design, workload estimation, development, integration, documentation, testing and post production operations and support. To be successful the candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment. Our engineers respond to critical infrastructure issues and escalations to support our 24x7 operations and achieve our platform uptime requirements.
We're looking for engineers who can get things done in half, or less, the time it takes an average software engineer in the industry. Our new hires are expected to help, collaborate and add value quickly while working with our current engineers. We work, and expect new hires as well, to work under tight schedules, deadlines and conflicting priorities.
