In order to find the answer, Freightos surveyed 40 freight forwarders, across large enterprises and SMBs, to take a look at the current tech landscape and future directions.
The findings show that the industry has come a long way but has a long road ahead. Widespread tech adoption is evident, with 90% of forwarders using one or more tech solutions. But satisfaction levels remain moderate, with only 42% expressing satisfaction. Meanwhile, over 60% have switched their tech solutions in the past five years, highlighting a significant trend towards seeking better technology.
