It used to be something that a specific person within the logistics or international transportation team handled almost in a weird way, irrespective of what was going on outside within their company… We were just starting to see SaaS multi-tenant software that handled international transportation management in a purpose-built way. That was just starting to catch on, and we started to see the people responsible for that say, ‘Hey, we can’t just procure based on what’s thrown over the fence to us by our internal teams.
