Transpacific ocean rates remained level but elevated in November as some shippers have started frontloading ahead of a possible port worker strike in January and likely tariff increases next year. Asia – Europe rates rebounded as carriers reduce capacity and shippers may be starting their Lunar New Year rush early. And even late in November, anticipated air cargo rate spikes and capacity squeeze have yet to materialize.
