The first quarter of 2024 – with the Red Sea diversions continuing and a bridge collapse closing a major port in North America – came to a bumpy close last month. But more than a few examples show that logistics players are increasingly turning to technology for efficiency to ensure resiliency when things get more complicated.
A recent blog from Freightos Group EVP of Global Partnerships, Joyce Tai, explored how demand for air cargo out of India following the Red Sea crisis led to airlines with more comprehensive digital visibility of their operations outperforming their counterparts in terms of customer experience and keeping cargo moving.
And the last few weeks have continued to see more milestones reached in logtech too, from more progress in data standards, and eBookings, to – of course – additional focus on AI for logistics and supply chains.
